“batter” up!

Every Wednesday will be an adventure in the Sobeys kitchen where your child will spend half of the program learning the ins and outs of age appropriate cooking. what’s cooking

dodge ball

holiday howlers (shop till you drop!)

6 – 12 years

Find it difficult to finish your holiday shopping while toting a child that would rather be doing anything else? Find the happy compromise, and register your child in one of our Holiday Howlers. Children in this program will make a holiday craft, have snack time and enjoy some activities in the gym. While they are participating in a safe, fun holiday program you can finish your shopping, decorating the house, or just take a few minutes to catch your breath during the busy holiday seasons.

If you want to enrol your child in a morning and an afternoon program, you can also get lunchtime supervision for an additional $5 per day. Children can bring a bag lunch and “hang-out” with our Program Leaders. During the lunch hour, programming will not occur, however activities will be provided for the children to participate in. Please register for this service at time of program registration.

outta school - christmas break days

6 – 12 years

School’s out for holiday season... If your child wants or needs something to do, they can participate in this one-day multi activity program to fill in that gap when school is out. Games, sports, crafts and activities will be planned throughout the day to entertain and keep your child happy and active. Each day the kids will be participating in different themed activities (a theme for each of the days is in brackets below). Each program date is broken into sessions for 6-9 year olds and 9- 12 year olds.

Children should bring:

• indoor shoes, a water bottle, swimsuit, towel, appropriate clothing as required

Please note: children may be participating in messy, hands on activities throughout the day. Children should be comfortable carrying their own belongings. Please send your child with a morning and afternoon snack (as well as one for post camp if applicable) and lunch. The children may not carry money to purchase their snacks and lunches as it is distracting to the program and eating venues are not always available for purchases.

Early drop off and late pick is available for an additional $5 per day. Children can be dropped off as early as 8 am and picked up until 5 pm (except for Thursday the 31st, all programs will end at 3 pm). During this time additional time, programming will not occur, however activities will be provided for the children to participate in. Please register for this service at time of program registration.
