Broga Jr. - yoga
Whether you're an athlete looking for more range of motion, or just looking to stretch your body out, this class is designed to welcome and introduce young men to the benefits of yoga. Explore the range of motion in your joints, and learn to prepare your joints for activity, creating a strong and dynamic pre-workout warm-up and a post-training stretching routine. Explore new ways of working out and a deep flexibility and relaxation feeling from working in. Gain muscle and joint strength through manipulating and stabilizing your body weight.
Smart Start for Teens
In the Smart Start for Teens course, youth will learn the basics around fitness & wellness centre etiquette, resistance training, cardiovascular training, flexibility and nutrition. Youth 12-15 years of age must complete our Smart Start for Teens program prior to using the Fitness and Wellness center and the Track and Training Center.
Teen spin is designed to teach the basics of a spin class. Everything from bike set up to building endurance and confidence among peers in a safe environment. This class will accommodate all fitness levels. *There is a height minimum of 5 feet, due to the size of the bike.
Yoga for Teens
Come to a lighthearted yoga class that lets you stretch out and chill out. Take a deep breath, open your mind and find your inner strength through movement. Improve your confidence, fitness and health, leaving the class feeling grounded and centred.
