Today's seniors are more active and health conscience than previous generations. At Servus Place, we've made the health and wellness of our seniors a top priority by offering programs and classes for the spirit, mind and body. Our programs offer seniors a chance to increase their strength and flexibility, meet new friends and increase mobility.
Our Seniors' Day takes place the 3rd Thursday of the month. Join us for a workout in the fitness centre, a walk on the track, or a class in the pool or fitness studio. Then come and enjoy snacks and refreshments on the second floor concourse from 10:30 am to noon. Join us on September 19, October 17, November 21 and December 19. Drop-in admission or membership required.

Senior Band Camp is your chance to work muscular endurance using resistance bands. A full body workout that is suitable for all fitness levels.
Suspension Training for Seniors
Suspension Training using TRX is a revolutionary strength and conditioning system that uses your own body weight as resistance. Since you can adapt how much resistance you use by adjusting your body position, Suspension Training is safe and effective for all people of all fitness levels. Zumba Gold targets the largest growing segment of the population: baby boomers. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere. This is a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun.
