Arenas

Servus Credit Union Place has three NHL sized ice arenas - the Northstar Hyundai Arena, the Mark Messier Arena and the Troy Murray Arena.

Northstar Hyundai Arena

With seating for 2,023 (excluding standing room), the Northstar Hyundai Arena is host to many international, national and local sporting events including the 2011 Continental Cup of Curling, the 2012 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games and the 2011 Esso Cup, Canadian Womens AAA Midget  Hockey Championships.

Mark Messier Arena

The Mark Messier Arena opened in 1992 as part of the Campbell Twin Arenas, which were added onto the Servus Credit Union place as part of the construction. Named in honour of St. Albert's famous son and hockey star, Mark Messier came home on February 27, 2007 to see the rededication of the arena in his name.

Troy Murray Arena

The Troy Murray Arena was part of Campbell Twin Arenas and opened in 1992, which was expanded to create Servus Credit Union Place. It is named after Troy Murray who played in the NHL for 15 years and was a member of the St. Albert Saints Hockey Team.

Leisure Ice

Families can reconnect in this intimate, fun atmosphere while experiencing the magic of skating on a wintry pond!

- skate rentals are available at St. Albert Source for Sports located within the facility
- helmets are recommended
- leisure ice is available on a seasonal basis – please call 780.418.6088 for details
-No sticks, pucks, toboggans or chairs are allowed on the leisure ice.

The Kingsway Toyota leisure ice will be closed starting April 28 through to September.  Please check our drop in schedule to look at available public skate times at Servus Place.
